### What a Seasonal Tune-Up Covers
Our spring AC tune-up focuses on the items most likely to cause summer failures: capacitor and contactor inspection and testing, refrigerant level check, evaporator and condenser coil cleaning, condensate drain flush, air filter inspection, supply air temperature measurement, and a system operational test. Our fall furnace tune-up focuses on heating safety and reliability: heat exchanger and CO inspection, burner cleaning, ignitor and flame sensor inspection, blower motor check, flue draft test, and filter service.
### Why Spring and Fall Are the Right Times
Scheduling in spring (March–April for AC) and fall (September–October for furnace) provides two important advantages. First, you beat the summer and winter rush — emergency service response times lengthen significantly when everyone's system fails at once during peak demand. Second, you have time to address any issues found before you actually need the system. A problem found in April can be fixed in a week; the same problem discovered during a July heat advisory means waiting days for parts.

Is one tune-up a year enough in LA?

What if you find a problem during the tune-up?
We tell you immediately and present repair options with written pricing. You decide whether to address it during the same visit or schedule a separate repair call. We never make repairs without your explicit authorization.
Do newer systems still need seasonal tune-ups?
Yes. Even new systems benefit from annual confirmation that refrigerant charge is correct, coils are clean, and drainage is clear. Most manufacturer warranties require documented annual maintenance to remain valid.
