### Why Duct Insulation Matters in Los Angeles

How do I know if my duct insulation has failed?
If you can access your attic, look at your flex duct. If the outer gray jacket is torn, compressed flat in places, or missing sections exposing the inner liner, insulation has failed. Should I replace my flex duct or just re-insulate it?

Is duct insulation work messy or disruptive?
Work is confined to the attic space. We take precautions to contain attic insulation during the work. The living spaces of the home are not directly affected. Most duct insulation projects are completed in one day.
Can duct insulation be upgraded without replacing the ductwork?
