What to Do If No Power Is Coming to the Thermostat
Troubleshoot a blank or dead thermostat before calling for HVAC repair in Los Angeles.

Check Thermostat Batteries

Inspect the Circuit Breaker
Find breakers labeled AC, Air Handler, or Furnace in your electrical panel. Switch fully OFF, then back ON.

Check the Float Switch / Drain Pan
Look for standing water in the indoor unit drain pan. A tripped float switch shuts down the system to prevent ceiling damage.
